Another fun day in the 1500. The start was a game of chicken and I really didn't want a slow first 300 so I took it and set a good pace. I let up a bit the 2nd lap (probably too much) but luckily Andre took over for a little. Took the lead again during the 3rd lap to make sure we worked it, but it was still a tad slow. After a brief takeover from a couple other guys, I threw down a solid kick with 250 to go for the win. Unfortunately just off my PR and couldn't move up in Leagues rankings, but it was still a solid race. Maybe not the race for a PR given that I led most of it and it was a little windy.
Glad to at least have 4:02/4:03 as my baseline for a solid race, I know I have a good one in me to make the next jump. Also, I’m now 3 for 3 for wins for my last 3 races on the home track!
