1500m at Williams in 4:07 for 6th overall. Today was a good reminder of why I love this sport. Before the race, I was a little nervous when I found out I was in the fast heat, as I knew there were some pretty quick people in the race and I was expecting to be in the slow heat. To avoid making the mistake of trailing in the back, I kept telling myself that I belonged in this race and that I could compete with these guys. I stayed in the middle-back of the pack until 400 to go where I was able to pass a few guys with a decent kick. I could tell by the way I felt right after that this was my first strong effort in a long time. As always, the middle of my race could use some improvement, but overall I'm very happy with the race and time.
