Boilermaker 15K in 52:21 (17:47, 17:21, 17:13)
Pretty happy with today considering I was only aiming for 53s after last week’s 5K. Felt surprisingly good during many points of the race. The Boilermaker is a real feel-good race where you’ll have these bursts of energy with the awesome crowd encouragement. Started to feel it a bit the last mile but I held on for a solid finish for close to 6 minutes off my 2016 time. Also raced with the same people for most of the race, including a barefoot runner. Really glad I ran this, definitely the confidence booster I needed right now, just gotta keep the ball rolling
