POURING RAIN! I started out planning to run 6 miles and do a tempo run for 2 miles in the middle. However, after about 1 mile it started to pour. I was stuck in the rain and my shoes weighed a ton. I just made the decision to cut the run short and run as hard / fast as I could until I got back home. This worked as a pretty good tempo run for me. A few days after my legs and hip were pretty sore. This is the first speed workout I have really done in over 2 years. It felt good to break out a little bit.
