I am estimating on the distance but I am pretty sure it was 3 miles for 2 loops as my time was just about what it should be for a 5K around my 2nd loop at the HR I was running at. It was really hot and humid here 96 at 7pm according to my car. I tried counting my steps to get an idea of what my cadence is and I was greatly disappointed...the 1st time I counted it was 160 but when I started to pay attention and increasing my cadence I got it up to 172 but it greatly increased my HR from the 155 average to about 170. I will continue to try and focus on increasing my cadence and try to run at the 172 rate and eventually shoot for the 180 optimal mark.
