with Sammy. Had good food/water: ate 1 goo before, 1 goo chomps, 1 goo; 22 oz water. Forded river twice - bloodied toe on the first one, but kept my shoes dry which was worth the 2-3mins each time. Walked up some really steep hills but ran more than last time and ran down almost everything. Miles 7 and 8 dragged; last mile not so bad.
