Only chance to get in a workout today is during James' afternoon nap after lunch, right in the heat of the day. In fact, when there was a wind, it was warm non-cooling wind.

Goal workout was a ladder of 400, 800, 1200, 1600, 1200, 800, 400. Goal pace for each (per 400) was 71, 2:32, 3:54, 5:20.

Couldn't hit the splits today, just felt slow even right out of the gate. Not sure if it is the heat, running alone, or lack of sleep with Benjamin.

Gave up on the last 800 due to exhaustion and some cramping. Took the extra rest to get in one last 400 to close it out.
