Precip changed to snow about 10 minutes before I started, so the footing became a little more slippery as the run went on and visibility sucked as I was pelted in the face in certain directions. Goal of the run was to get 2 blocks of 2 miles at MP, but just couldn't hit the pace with the snow on the hills. With the race coming on Sunday, I didn't want to really go too hard on the effort, so I ran off perceived effort rather than strictly hitting MP. Plenty of time to get on track with MP miles. In the end, this run was just a good excuse to get in some faster turnover without the true benefit of getting at MP.
