Chilly morning, just 39 degrees. Also complete darkness for the entire workout, ended up using my headlamp to see the splits. The darkness added a challenge to the pacing but in reality, I should have still been able to go off feel. Started off right on track and then kept falling off pace by 1 second on each rep. I would usually fall off two seconds over the first lap and then have to fight back over the second lap. Goals should have been 2:56, 2:52, 2:48. 2:44, 2:40, 2:36. Other than the first rep, every other was 1 second slow. Consistent, but would have liked to have hit the splits. I felt like I was working at the end, would have preferred the last reps to have felt easier. Some weird discomfort in back of my right leg behind the knee (not the knee that was feeling bad, tendons along the backside of the leg?).

Continuing the taper now. Easy 6 tomorrow. Two off days. Easy 4 on Saturday. Then race day!
