Absolutely terrible workout. Goal was to do 6x1000 at 3:10 or so and ended up with only 5 at a much slower pace. Right out of the gate I just couldn't hit the splits and it only got worse. I stopped after the last one really fell off. It was just really hot/humid and was stuck doing the workout solo in the morning without much warmup.
I don't know if it was the heat that got to me or if i'm still recovering from racing over the weekend. In either case, the workout was an absolute failure. I would like to think I could have dug a little deeper if I had a partner to run with but who knows.
