Weather was pretty nice, just didnt have the energy this morning. Was hoping for a repeat of last week, but the MP miles just werent there. I would start off on pace, feel like I was maintaining it, only to look at my watch a few minutes later and be 10 seconds off pace. I really struggle with MP going solo and today was no different. Also had some irritating headwind during miles 18 and 19, but woudlnt have hit MP anyway. Still a pretty good overall pace for the run, but part of the goal for today was to get 8 miles at MP and instead I got 8 miles just above MP which doesnt really do a whole lot of benefit necessarily. Would have preferred to run with the group tomorrow, but out of town this weekend. Let's see how New Bedford goes next weekend.
