Boston Marathon Virtual Edition. Did neighborhood loops which I was initially dreading, although at the same time felt like this could be a fun challenge. Liz pulled through with the neighbors coming out to support, which was awesome and definitely helped a lot!
Original goal was sub 3, then I figured I would target sub 2:55. As I got closer, figured I would target sub 2:50. Today I went out around 2:50 pace and figured I could adjust as I went. I was feeling ok and pushed a bit on the latter section, although just didn't have it in the tank to get down to normal MP.
Took a 1:00 bathroom detour just after the half mark.
A very different Boston experience but overall happy I signed up and did it.
