Back to Babson. No Curley tonight, so ran with Holmes. Workout was 4x800 around 3,000 - 5,000 pace then 4x400. Ideally would have done another 4x200 after.

The recoveries were short tonight so we really went easy on the lap jog. Overall hit the splits close to where I wanted. goal would have been 2:28 and averaged 2:29+. Usually gave it back on the last lap.

The 400's were tough. Lap 1 would be 35 and then lap two would come in around 37 despite not feeling like I was slowing down.

On the last 400, I tried to chase TJ during his rep (his 1000's were at my 400 interval pace). I felt a bit of soreness in my lower left quad during the last lap.

I tried stretching the quad before the 200's. I kicked off 200 #1 with some lingering pain so I bailed after 100 meters. Still sore jogging so called it a night.

One oddity I've noticed is that there is a lot of variation on everyone's workouts. There is a medium large group doing the main workout, but then TJ, Lee, and Chris are all doing their own separate ones. I get it that everyone has different goals, but i'm sure the group could benefit from everyone pushing each other for the same workout. I'm impressed though that even with them going solo in their workouts, they still crush it. When I go solo I struggle.
