Legs felt super fresh with lots of pop today. Didn't mean to push the pace, it just came without effort. Felt great. Off day from running tomorrow. Overall, foot is feeling great. I think there may still be some tenderness when pressing directly on the bone, but most activities that used to cause pain (stairs, bending toe when foot was flat on floor, putting on / taking off shoes, etc.) are now pain free. Keeping the conservative increase approach for now. Will build up to 8 miles by the end of the week (slower paced planned for the next couple of runs). Once I can hit 8 consistently, will start building up a longer weekly run while cutting back on one of the others. Will target running 5 days a week for a little while before eventually going to 6/7, but that will likely be a month or two off. if I can hit 40 per a week consistently by the end of October, I will be happy.
