First ride out on the Cannondale all season, surprisingly. Most rides have been with Liz/James on the Trek hybrid and not many chances to ride on the road bike yet. Was nice to be back on the Cannondale.
Road with Nimit, who just got his Cannondale a few weeks ago. Was good to have someone to ride with rather than the usual solo rides on the road bike. Nimit's still a beginner at this stage, riding with the platform pedals and not fully into cycling shape. I was in his position a few years ago, he just needs a little more time on the bike and the clipless pedals to get the most out of his rides. Pace was very conservative today, can hopefully crank things up as he gets more experience.
Pace was pretty consistent throughout the ride as seen on the 5 mile splits. Much of the ride was pushing a bit on the hills and using the flats/downs to reconnect with Nimit. Need to get out for a few harder rides in the upcoming weeks, just need to figure out when i'll be around to use the Cannondale. Will hopefully get a few more rides with Nimit too.
