how not to run a race...football game the night before, ate tons of food...didn't get to bed till midnight..woke up late, found out there was no timing chip on the bag..got to the race start about 5 minutes before start and info booth had already closed. So no timing chip (there goes 10 dollars down the drain). Stuck in the middle of the walkers for the start. Didn't drink any water before the race.

Start was miserable, stayed with Heather and the stroller for a bit weaving in and out...pretty much had to weave in and out all the way to the half point turn around. Took a little water because i was super thirsty and then tried to suck it up the rest of the race. Never felt comfortable at all throughout the race. I guess 25 minutes is ok given all the conditions. Hopefully Race for the Cure will be better. Was gonna go for a long run after but my legs were dead.
