splits are just shy of half mile in distance (started in the wrong place):
3:00 - way too fast, but understandable as the start is a slight downhill for .3 m. glad I decided to map out the half mile marks because there's no way I could have recovered from hitting the first mile in 6:00 m.
3:28 - much better
3:31 - good
3:45 - okay I guess b/c the 1.5 mark is slight uphill
3:19 - good
3:18 - good
wow. what a workout! while I was pretty spent at the end, I'm writing this about 30 minutes after the fact, and I'm ready to do it again... on another day.
