Notes

Snow wasn't going to be melted off of the track until at least tomorrow afternoon, so opted to do a fartlek style workout today instead.

15x 1 minute hard 1 minute easy. Decided pretty early on that I was going to be getting after it today and really making myself hurt on the last few. Had to take a little bit more rest after about rep 11 or 12 but only by a few more seconds. Ended up making it 5.2 in around 30 minutes (5:50 avrg). Very pleased considering the jog rests were taken pretty lightly, means I was still maintaining a pretty good clip even into the wind at the end when I thought I was tying up. Need to keep working on brushing up on this faster paced stuff, especially the "gear shifting" aspect that I think fartleks do a good job of forcing me to do.
