Kind of a mixed interval type of workout today, making it up as I went along.
Did a warm-up to Penn Charter track then did 2 miles of tempo, 1 mile easy, then a mile hard. I wanted to start slowly reintroducing CV pace into my legs, and didn't quite feel ready for a workout just yet. Went 6:22,5:59 for the tempo miles, then my hard mile was 5:24. It was very different and uncomfortable (expectedly).
Hoping in 1 months time I can do a road 5k and string a couple 5:24s together but we'll see...
