Seems like a very slow run, and it is! But remember that I had a 4lb pack on (never drank from it the whole time) and my goal was to maximize vertical distance covered during the run!

I totalled 1100ft. of vertical the whole time and that is finishing where I started so it includes the downhill too! I basically never ran on flat ground. It was great! Honestly the run felt good!
Plus I logged a 2nd best time on Strava for the St. Mary's steps. I only have to go 30sec faster without a pack to get a PR so my plan after I do grand canyon is to go back to the steps and set the record. I want the bar fast!
