Notes
Bored enough in class to make a RunningAHEAD return!
solid day, but rather complacent in the middle chunk of the race. Need to learn how to make that Nick Henry move with 700 to go so that I can feel something, anything.
I'm 20 years old with the best training and nutrition, fittest teammates, and most luxurious amenities that have ever been at my disposal, and yet I am happy to be barely running a 4:30 mile. However sad that is, I did still say that I'm happy about it. I don't care if I run 15s or 10ks outdoors (I actually do please give me a 10k opener in 5 weeks) anymore as long as i can look back on this an indicator that whatever I am running will stop being such a fucking plateau from where I was a year ago. And that goes for XC too. If I graduate with an 8k pr from sophmore year that is 136 seconds slower than my 10k pace from that same year, I will change my name and delete all former WXD members and coaches from my contacts and flee the country.
