The winds were brutal so I cut my run short today (Planned 5 miles). When running into the wind at some points I had to stop and turn around for a minute a few times until the winds died down a bit because I couldn't breath. They were that strong. Some surfaces were extremely slippery. I wore my spikes again. Even though it was a short run, it was a good workout.
After I got back in I checked the weather. Apparently there is a wind warning out. Winds were from the NW at 27 km/h and forecast to go up to 90 km/h today.
