Open marathon pace run at the track. Splits were pretty steady throughout. 6:36, 6:44, 6:29 (19:49); 6:12, 6:25, 6:15 (38:42); 6:31, 6:34, 6:52 (58:41); 6:16, 6:14, 6:19 (1:17:32); 6:36, 6:40, 6:34 (1:37:24); 6:25, 6:22, 6:16. I did this workout last year preparing for the Spokane Marathon. I was running a lot and did it in a 1:55:30, slightly less than one minute slower. Pretty good considering I'm in full blown tri training and I did a 6.5 hour brick yesterday. This is the big run week. Run taper for Kona starts tomorrow. I will not see this type of run volumn again. Yea!
