2 mile warm up, then 1 mile, 1200, 800, 2x400. 400 r.i. after the mile and the 1200. 200 r.i. after the 800 and the 400s. Ran this with Sam at Shadle. Wanted to keep the time at about 1:20 per 400 for the entire set. Very windy (SW at 25 mph), so it didn't quite work out. The times went like this - 5:26, 4:06, 2:40, 1:16, 1:17. HR got well into the 180s during the longer reps and into the mid 170s during the shorter reps. Average HR for the entire hour was 148. Overall a good effort in tough conditions.
