Cold. I did my speed work today because I'm in Yakima tomorrow, hopefully squeeze in my easy run which was scheduled for today. Goal - 8x800 at 5k race pace (2:36-2:40).

Overall, it was a good "mental toughness" day. I felt pretty fast during the first two, then it turned into somewhat of a struggle. I'd like to blame how I felt on the cold and wind but neither were that bad. I did ride this morning. I know that's not the best idea, but I had the time. This week includes some traveling so I figured I'd better grab it while I had the opportunity. When time permits, I'll do my important run first. I suspect that's why my legs felt heavy. It could also be the speed of these repeats.
