Corbin Park - 2 mile warm up run to the 1200 meter oval old horse track which runs around Corbin Park. The workout involves running around the oval 8 times (9600m or 5.97 miles) - run hard on the straights (500m), jog the curves (100m). The workout is 4 sets of 2 loops (4x500m)x4 for a total of 16x500m. After each set I walked the curve instead of jogging. Pace for each 500 was about 5:15-5:30. HR was mostly in the high 170s/low 180s. 2 mile easy run back to office.
