encouraging run today. started off walking, then jogging. at first my knee hurt. i wasn't sure i should keep going. it was definitely sore. but then after about a half mile it warmed up and loosened up and felt just fine. i think last week when i stopped running immediately i might have been fine if i had just kept going a bit. i am icing now but really encouraged that i can get back to running again. will take the whole week to run slowly though. tomorrow maybe try four miles, rest thurs and try five on friday? if that goes well i might run five with becca on saturday
