tried out an alterations workout that Subdood always raves about. quickly scanned the thread last night but need to go back and read the link he posted about it. attempted four miles,.25 at 7:15 pace and .75 at 7:45 pace...don't think I consistently hit it, but the hills definitely made it hard. this workout would have been much more managable on a flat mile. third fast quarter mile and i had to stop and catch my breath. i took off my gloves and headband and stashed them in my jacket but i think i was about done in, of course...the fast section hit that mile on the toughest hill and i was wasted
