I was planning to race this but when i got there and there were so many people (3000 runners in the 5K plus more in the 10K) i got nervous about leaving ruth all on her own, so i just ran with ruth, i was hoping that she could maintain a steady 9:00 pace but after the first 1.5 miles she pooped out and had to walk several times before the finish. we both had a great time though
