WOOHOOOO!!!!! Sub 4:40!!! I honestly never thought I would get to this level. To be a 4:30s guy, I mean that is top quality where I come from in Kansas and while it would never win at state I would probably at least go. Probably one of the best races I have ever run. I went out in, well I don't know what time maybe 32-34 in like 6th after the 100. Then I passed two on the second strait, two on one of the curves from 2-400 and one on the back side around 500. I was pretty close to 2nd then awhile til maybe 700 and he got a second or two on me and kept slowly increasing. I think my 800 was 2:17. Then I just clicked off around 35s maybe high 35s just feeling strong and fast and like I wasn't going to die. Then the last 200 I saw 4:03 and thought "only 43 to get me under" my math was bad because it was 37 but anyway I went with everything I had left but the kid who got third was behind me with 100 to go and took me by a tad. The last 50 I was getting a little wobbly legged and 50 more meters would have seen me do the chicken dance and fall at the line so I think it went really well. My mile goal is accomplished! Thank God!! I'm so happy right now. Also, PRs for Duffty and Paul in the mile!
