Wow, right! Maybe it was those two iron pills the last few days, I felt tight at work and a little stiff starting out, but by half a mile I was right in the pace range I wanted. 12 mile practice PR I think 1:10:59. Really good workout, plus I really hammered the last half mile, good stuff! Wow, I am in better shape than I thought. Now I suppose in addition to longer medium pace tempos I will have to make the pace in the 5:40s instead of 5:50s.
