1:26 at the corner to Asbury, 1:55 at NW arterial, 2:03 at jfk, 2:13 at university! That's about 1.6 miles in what was 9:50, and last mile in about 6:0X. Really had to work hard the last three miles. Between NW arterial and JFK coming up the hill on Asbury I really struggled. Same as three weeks ago, 15F with 15 mph winds in my face going out and uphill and a nice tailwind to bring me in downhill. Did much better this time, wore a marmot ion windshell, which means I sweat a bunch more than normal, but it kept me much warmer than just the three shirts I wore last time (and this time). What did I learn from this experience? In the winter, when it's windy wear a windshell! Even if I sweat it is much warmer than without a windshell! Praise the Lord this was such a good run! I am exhausted.
