First leg of reach the beach well actually leg 7. I started out right beside the guy from St. Lawrence university alumni after taking the bracelet from Alex White and we ran together for a half mile then he slowed down and I passed him and put three minutes on him. I tried to take this leg easy because it was my shortest and my first of three. I passed nine people on this leg and did not get passed by any. It was twilight the first half and then dark the last half of this run. Coming into the transition area I started weaving back and forth because I didn't know were to go it was so spread out but my teammates yelled "run towards the light" because there was one big obvious light and I handed off to Paul Freitas.
