I got out in 20th at 200 worked it and made places up on the downhill was in 4th around the mike. It was still a big group we were basically running three wide with 1-2 off the front around 2400 I slowed up and started going back. I was simply tired. Explanation: rolling week of 114 miles and like four workouts. All that quick mileage on Thursday. Simply put I was tired. Three races in ten days is a lot for me. Why did I die so hard? Lack of good anaerobic workouts recently. I got my 8-12 mmol and could not finish it off. Overall good race. I got to race some good runners and I spent plenty of minutes with a lot of lactic acid in my legs. Mixed day for UD good for some, not for others.
