1, 3, 5, 7 were into the wind going south, marginally harder to run the 20ft hill so 2, 4, 6, 8 were slightly with the wind the easier way to run the hill. good workout considering it was my first stab at LT pace quality in this cycle. hopefully I can finally finish out a cycle for the first time in a year and a half. I was trying to get a feel for my current LT pace. overall it went really well. I was planning to do 4-10 miles and when I realized that i was easily going to do more (by how I felt and only checking my watch after the 4th mile) the 7th repeat felt the hardest and mentally I wasn't ready to do the full 10. it wasn't a huge quality trying workout it was to figure out where my LT pace stands on the day. average of 5:49 throw out the fastest and slowest and the average is more like 5:48. a little slower than I would like, but the cycle is still very very young. besides an average of 8 miles sub 6! not bad for a first real quality in months.
