Wow, great workout huh! Overall pretty average compared to a lot of other workouts I've done, but I was pretty nervous going into this that I could even maintain 6:20 pace. However, once I finally settled into a rhythm I kept hitting 6:00-05 kind of paces. Then I decided on the mile 8 downhill to punch it and put in a hard mile. That mile went really well, I had a fair amount left in the tank, as two more 6:05 miles showed without even a second to stop and rest. This is the kind of workout I need to do on a consistent basis. Not terribly challenging, but aerobically difficult. Also, this is something that previously I just could not do during the week because of coaching. So you know… choices to lead to opportunities.
