best pace variation tempo I have ever had. the actual workout is supposed to be 3% slow, 3% fast (for MP) even though I am aiming for 5:30 pace. I thought 5:40s and 5:25s would be good. It was dark most of the time so I didn't really see many of my splits. otherwise I would not have thrown down sub 80s on that second mile, it just felt good. I'm really happy with this workout. I would like to get in one more workout of this volume before the special block this Sunday.
