Today was one of the greatest recovery runs I have ever had! It was one of those runs where you feel great and could push the pace if you want but you just kind of settle in and run. I was pushing a little but not much. I just felt amazing I had at least one, more like two or three gears left. Today I could have shoved down a good long run (I'll do mine tomorrow) or tempo or workout or race. After studying up one Jack Daniels recently I have decided on a plan of action for the Cellcom Greenbay Half Marathon May 20th. Barring something unexpected I plan to do one workout a week plus the token long run and my enjoyable medium long run. Since I chose the workouts mile repeats it it followed by 800's and maybe some 400's the last 2 or 3 weeks. I might also do strides once a week in addition to a workout. To me strides are like a quarter to a half of a workout depending on how long you do them and how many etcetera. Went to church at 8:30 AM returned back at 5:30 PM. It was a penecostal church.
