So I basically ran a broken 28:10 8k on the track the day after a 22 miler. no lie this went really well for me! Very tired at the end but that's fine I wasn't slowing down that much. I mean 5:40s is not that fast. Moral of the story: I think I'm in low 27s shape at least for the 5 miler this saturday. That should be good for at least third.
