long day with a bunch of sophmores and freshmen. 6 of us total on the lafayette loop. temps 10? winds at lafayette summit 30-35. I took my hands out of my gloves for 3-4 minutes tops to take pictures and when I put my hands back in my mittens they started to hurt really bad from mthe blood flow again. I mean wind chill -20 to -30 but it really made my fingers cold fast! The rest of the day was pretty standard. also stopped at llbean outlet and panera on the way home and used the ice axe for the first time!
