again the white a2s. out in 5:26 thinking that must be short. halfway in 17:51 got passed by #5 guy around mile 4. last 2.5 miles were somewhat hard. I haven't done any workouts that hard in a long time so there was a lot of lactic acid slowing me down. not a terrible place to be. ryan messien beat me by four minutes (ran at olym trls). i won my age division and didn't get beat by any women. good race, i guess. only runner in my 20s in the top 10. gun time 36:04
