Notes

Really good blow out on the roads. I decided to run once a week on the roads and the rest of the time in the muck. Used the new DS Trainers again to help break them in. They were far better than the first time and my feet were only a little sore at one side of my right foor when I was finished. I ran to Monkstown and onto DunLaoighre and back. It's over 7 miles which is a nice look on the roads. Has a few hills as well which makes it a nice challenge. Best of all you can run most of it without having to stop for lights. The run is mostly down hill to begin with so instead of starting slowly I was sub 8 min mile pace after 20 mins. As the run went on I got faster and really pushed it on the last couple of miles. Definitely a difference running on the roads in new runners. Legs finally got to open up a bit. Delighted with the run as I finished really well (including uphill sections near the end). Not sure how much was left in the tank at the end but great to run 7 miles at that pace
