Nice and easy Boston Marathon for a marathon PR. Now I know why they call it a tailwind...saved my tail in a couple of spots. I need to work on my pacing, ahead of my target time by less than a second. At least this makes up for Hartford 2:55:01.
Great to be a part of a historic, and gorgeous, day in the best city in the world!
Want to give a shout out to Jimmie Cochran for the familiar face at the start, John Rheaume on the course, Brendan Kearney for keeping me under control for 8+ miles, Jim Garcia, David Oliver, and Ephraim Ezekiel for inspiring me near the finish, and Steve Moland and Tatum O'Sullivan after the finish.
