odd race. was in 8th through 10 miles. felt great until i was suddenly passed by 5 runners from 10-11. pace fell off for a bit, but recovered strong. 13th overall out of 5400 runners. gps distance appeared out of whack for half marathon distance: 13.3. didn't hit any of my goals, but these are the runs you remember. congrats to all of the other glrr runners out there! and thanks to glrr volunteers for manning a water station. very cool to get a lot of "go greater lowell" shoutouts, even some angry chicken references too! i'll take this run for half IM in august. time to just focus on training for cranberry 50k and timberman. to the bike!!
