Terrible conditions, raining for duration. This session was suppose to be easy slow builds during 5 min sessions to rpe 16 (about 130 bpm, assuming mHR at 170). Clearly, hr figures exceeding this and yet I couldn't run any slower.
My experience from previous rest from running (>= 2 weeks) is that my hr is always slightly elevated until normal running frequency is resumed. I've rested for well over 4 weeks at this point (only one run in during that time) so this may be the explanation for higher than expected hr.
