Notes

Was going to start earlier from Evolution Cycles, 6.30 am with Bec Hingert & Steve Usher. Bec messaged me at 5 am, couldn't make it. So, plan B, start with the group as per normal.

All the way to the top of Kinglake. That last hill wasn't as challenging as it was the first time a few weeks ago when I didn't know when it would end. This time around, I knew it was a 9.2 km section and merely counted down the k's as I was going.

On the return trip, either the group slowed somewhat but either way, I felt a second-wind, can't complain about that.

Good weather conditions albeit a little cold but certainly not raining and gusty as the forecast suggested.

Didn't have time to socialise after this as I had to get home, shower and get to work for 2 pm. It was all rush (that is why I wanted to start at 6.30 am, at least have that extra 30 mins up my sleeve).

First time using my Gamin Edge 800. Another nice little stat is the temperature, which is captured by TrainingPeaks. Temperature graph line as well, super imposed with cadence, elevation, heart rate etc. I like it.
