when I got done i took a casual look at my shoes and found that the outside heel of the left shoe was worn through. this is the spot that always wears out first, but i was quite surprised to see it worn through this fast. I am guessing that I have overcompensated in my stride due to the pain from the open wound on the inside arch of that foot and have caused it to wear out prematurely. not cool. have to start a new pair tomorrow. foot is healing but slowly. got to keep plugging but fortunately I will be starting to taper for the diamonds after this week.
