I ran with laura hannah and jocelyn for like a half mile and i hit my first split (7:10) right on the dot but they were ahead of me so idk if they were going faster than the splits or what happened (so confused?). They negative split their whole run and I could not keep up so I made it my goal to stay as close to my original pace as possible and negative split the last mile.

This is my second spring mount practice this summer. Speed workouts are difficult because I'm not as conditioned as varsity as far as tempo runs- i've done a lot of hill workouts on my own thats my biggest strength running-wise. however, i've seen improvement that'll hopefully continue in preseason and make up for missing so many summer practices.
