So goddamn miserable - this was supposed to be T pace 10 minute intervals, but I did one a little too fast (just under 8m/m) and it was all I could do to dial it back to 9m/m and finish out 4 miles of 5. Sinking 4-5" into mud is not uncommon in many places and apart from walking, I'm not sure that easy is even possible. If I can't switch my schedule around to running in the early AM on the roads around here, I'm totally screwed, because this is just impossible.

Q2 - Interval Fartlek. concentrate on more sustained (around 10 min) T pace efforts with short recoveries. listen to your body, but put in a good, hard effort.
