Running on an inured achillies. I iced it religiously every day last week--and took motrin. Ran Lexington first in case this injury was too bad to run on. As I ran Lexington, I kept thinking there is no way I'm running 19 today. And I reentered the base, I thought the achillies was tight (not good,,,and not without pain) but workable. I only had one bottle of water becasue I didn't wear my jacket--so my hydration strategy wasn;t the best the week (lol, it never existing until a couple of weeks ago). So it wad a crappy ru, while it was int the 50's, there were still lots of ice and puddles of water everywhere. Though I tried extremely hard to keep my feet from getting wet, they both ended up soaked (which is miserable). Unlike last week, I avoided the f'd up sidewalk and ran on the roads. Concord...let's just say with the high speeds (illegal) in Concord and the lack of humanity by these uppity, rich snobs....some were so far up my ass I'd call it an enema (the speed in this area is so unnecessary). The Concord town center is tight and these assholes fly. I've always said of the hundreds of places I've run over the decades, if I ever get hit by a car, it witll be in Lexington. Likely after they hit me, they'll tell scream at me, tell me its my fault and spit on me. Love living in Boston....
